Psalm 95:6 – “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”
The worship team of The Rock Church of Tampa Bay is not your average worship team. God has overly and abundantly blessed our house with talented musicians of all sorts. We believe in using the gifts and talents God has brought to our house. Our team consists of several different leaders encompassing many different styles of music, you may even hear a didgeridoo. The liberty that we have in our house coupled with the expectation of the people create an atmosphere of freedom in worship.
Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light shine before man, that they may see your good deeds and praise the father in Heaven.”
The purpose of The Rock Church of Tampa Bay drama team is to present gospel messages in unexpected ways. In today’s society, people are drawn to movies, radio, and other forms of media. The drama team helps fill the gap between secular entertainment and the saving power of Jesus Christ. Using live skits, short films, plays and other forms of theatrical arts, the drama team strives to show Christ’s love in every form of expression.
Psalm 60:4 – “You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah”
Flags have been a beautiful expression of worshipping God for a long time. Historically they have represented nations, tribes and actions that need to be taken. We believe God uses them to represent His message of truth and what He is doing such as spiritual warfare, pouring out anointing, His love; as well as be the extension of His worship. It has been a blessing having flags as a part of worshiping Jesus!! People of all ages enjoy them and are encouraged to use them in worship.
In addition to congregational worship, we love using flags for special services such as Easter, special songs and dances in partnership with our dance and drama teams. There are always learning opportunities so please keep in touch to know when workshops and classes are held so you can be a part.
Dance – “Kings Court Dance”
John 4:23 – “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. “
There is a fresh Spirit of Worship being released throughout the Body of Christ. These ‘worshipers’ will be known as the King’s closest compan-ions. Companion is a word that means ‘to share the bread’. The Holy Spirit desires to use those who ‘share the bread at His table’, those who seek His heart through intimacy, to be ambassadors for advancing His Kingdom here on the earth.
