About Us

Rev. Brian Burgee began his walk in full time ministry over 30 years ago after being called many years before as a teenager. It was a long journey which lead him through a life of drugs and alcohol before being delivered miraculously through the ministry of a small store-front church. Now he has a burden to minister healing, life and hope to others and especially those struggling with addictions and ones that are lost spiritually. Those that the world would call outcasts. He also has a vision to see unity in the Body of Christ and pastors working together to advance the Kingdom.

Pastor Brian served for several years as an associate pastor with Rock City Church in Baltimore before joining the staff at the Rock Church in Virginia Beach working directly with the Bishop. In November of 1998 the Word of the Lord came that it was time for him to be sent out and in May of 1999 he and Kimm left Virginia Beach and moved to Florida to plant the Rock Church of Tampa Bay in Oldsmar. 

Pastor Brian is ordained through RMF and Rock Church of Tampa Bay. He is a graduate of RMF Intensive Training School and has had extensive training in marriage counseling and small group ministry. Pastor Brian originally from Baltimore, Maryland has retired to York, Pennsylvania with his two daughters, four grandchildren and soon to be great granddaughter. His bride of near 40 years went home to be with the Lord in 2019
